With this album, I wanted to make something completely immersive, not just a collection of songs. Some of my favourite records are ones that create their own atmosphere, and you can’t help but listen to the whole thing from start to finish. Diorama by Silverchair; Frances the Mute by The Mars Volta; Iowa by Slipknot; Catch 33 by Meshuggah; Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd; Eat The Elephant by A Perfect Circle; Bryter Layter by Nick Drake; Boys For Pele by Tori Amos; A Thousand Suns by Linkin Park. They all sound completely different and unique, but I love how they all have a similarly cinematic quality.

Meet me on the Moon is an audio collage of songs and sounds which all have a similar theme. You can listen loud if you like, but I would love people to listen to it in the dark, by themselves, uninterrupted, with headphones on.

This album is about preparing for change, realising and accepting that things happen beyond our control, and finding hope and positivity even when faced with grief and loneliness.
